GPJ at Allegiant Stadium: A Photo Booth With a Custom Backdrop for a Conference-Week Party in Las Vegas

During conference week in Las Vegas, the parties happen in the rooms the city is known for. GPJ (George P. Johnson), the experiential marketing agency, produced an evening party at Allegiant Stadium on October 14, 2026 and booked a stationary photo booth with a custom backdrop and a table of props for the crowd coming over from the conference.

GPJ built the party inside Allegiant Stadium, and the backdrop matched the room

Allegiant Stadium hosts more than football. Its club levels and event spaces take corporate buyouts during the big conference weeks, and the production for this one came from GPJ, one of the largest experiential agencies in the business. The crowd arrived in conference lanyards from the show in town that week, and the room was built around a single word in outlined neon-style lettering with the sponsors' logos tiled below it.

The photo booth backdrop used the same artwork. Instead of a sequin wall or a solid color, we printed an eight-by-eight panel with the lettering across the top and the logos in a step-and-repeat pattern, so each photo carried the event's look without a watermark doing the work. Custom backdrops are part of every corporate booking, and this is the case for using them: the party had an identity, and the booth belonged to it.

Four attendees at the booth. The props did the icebreaking: a mustache on a stick, a sign asking whether they were getting paid for this, and one about working hard and playing hard.

A stationary open-air booth fit the flow of a club-level party

Unlike the roaming coverage we ran in the parking lot for Amazon's trunk-or-treat the following week, this party called for a fixed station. Guests moved between the bar, the food, and the music, and a booth with a backdrop gave them a place to go. The open-air format kept the line visible, which matters at a party: people join a line they can see moving.

Our attendant ran the screen, reset the props between groups, and kept sessions to about a minute each. The booth sits inside our corporate photo booth service, with the same package that covers grand openings, holiday parties, and employee events.

Props with office jokes carried the night

The prop table was built for the audience. Speech bubbles read "I need a raise," "Are we getting paid for this?," "Could've been an email," "Let's make HR nervous!," "Team building," and "Work hard, play hard," plus an "Overachiever" arrow, star-shaped glasses, and a mustache on a stick. For a crowd that had spent the day in sessions, the jokes landed, and most groups picked a sign before the attendant said a word.

  • Speech-bubble signs with workplace one-liners, picked to match the attendees
  • Star glasses and a mustache for the groups that wanted a costume rather than a caption
  • Ribbon wands for movement in the four-up strips
  • A clean backdrop behind it all, so the signs read and the logos stayed visible

Printed props and digital overlays each have a place. The overlays vs props comparison covers when a client should choose one over the other. For this party, physical props won because the crowd was there to let off steam.

Singles and four-up strips, delivered on the spot

Every session produced either a single frame or a four-up strip, and the guest chose on the screen. The strip layout put four poses on one image with the sponsor mark, which is the format most people sent to their team chat before leaving the booth. Delivery was email, text, and AirDrop, the standard set on our corporate packages, and a gallery went to GPJ after the event for the client's own use.

What a stadium party needs from a photo booth vendor

For agencies and corporate planners scoping a similar night at Allegiant Stadium or another managed venue, here is what made this one run:

  • A certificate of insurance and vendor credentials submitted ahead of load-in, which the stadium requires
  • Backdrop artwork approved at least a week out, so the print and the stand are ready on the day
  • A prop set chosen for the audience, not a generic bin
  • An attendant who keeps the line moving and the props reset
  • Delivery options agreed in advance, with a post-event gallery for the client

If the goal is measurable rather than social, our lead capture at trade shows post and the photo booth ROI metrics guide cover the data side. Our 360 video booth is the usual add-on when a party wants video alongside stills.

Frequently asked questions

Can you bring a photo booth into Allegiant Stadium?

Yes. Allegiant Stadium is a managed venue with its own vendor rules, so the booking runs through the event producer or the stadium's events team rather than a walk-up. We arrive with a certificate of insurance, a vendor badge request, and a load-in slot, and the open-air booth fits through standard doors. Our Allegiant Stadium logistics guide covers the questions to ask before the date.

What is a custom backdrop for a corporate photo booth?

A printed wall, usually eight by eight feet, designed from the event's own artwork rather than a stock sequin or solid panel. For GPJ's party the backdrop carried the event's outlined lettering with the sponsor logos in a step-and-repeat pattern, so every photo read as part of the event. The client supplies the artwork, we handle the print and the stand, and it is quoted per event with the booth.

Do props work at a professional conference party?

They do when they match the room. At this party the props were speech-bubble signs with office jokes, star glasses, and a mustache on a stick, and attendees in conference lanyards lined up for them. Signs give a group something to do with their hands in the first second, which is what gets a reserved crowd into the frame. Our overlays vs props post covers when to use which.

How many photos can a stationary booth take at a 3-hour party?

Sessions are unlimited on every package, and a steady line at an open-air booth runs around 40 to 60 sessions an hour with an attendant keeping it moving. Each session can produce a single frame or a four-up strip, and guests choose how to receive it on the screen. A three-hour party like this one typically fills a gallery with a few hundred frames.

How is a corporate photo booth at a Vegas conference party priced?

Corporate bookings start at the day rate on our pricing page, which covers the booth, an attendant, a branded overlay, and digital sharing. A custom-printed backdrop, on-demand prints, a second attendant, and lead capture are add-ons quoted per event. Send the date, the venue, and the guest count, and we respond with a proposal within 24 hours.
