CES (Consumer Electronics Show)'s Go-To Photo Booth Team

CES is the largest and most influential consumer electronics trade show in the world, and it takes place right here in Las Vegas every January. With 100,000+ attendees spanning LVCC, Venetian Expo, and surrounding venues, competition for attention on the show floor is intense.

A photo booth gives your CES exhibit a competitive edge. While other booths rely on static displays and brochures, your space becomes an interactive experience that attendees want to visit, engage with, and share. Every photo and video carries your branding to networks far beyond the convention hall.

Why CES Needs an Earlier Timeline

Everything about CES week is early and crowded. Freight windows are tight, show services deadlines land well before the holidays, and reliable local vendors get booked while exhibitors are still finalizing booth graphics. The planning mistake we see most from first-time CES exhibitors is running their normal trade show timeline. If your activation vendor is not confirmed before the holiday season starts, your options in January are what other exhibitors passed on.

A CES Booking Timeline That Works

By October: activation vendor confirmed, format chosen, overlay brief started.

By November: paperwork filed, branding approved, staffing plan set.

December: final confirmations before the holiday quiet, when half your company is out of office.

Show week: we load in on our own schedule and your team focuses on the demo. Our corporate day rate of $750 covers the booth, an attendant, a custom overlay, and lead capture, so the budget line is known before procurement asks.

CES Paperwork: COI, EAC, and Union Rules

Booth activations at CES run through the same compliance stack as any Vegas convention: a certificate of insurance to the venue's spec, exhibitor-appointed contractor registration where the show requires it, and union jurisdiction on freight and power. The CES difference is the calendar. Deadlines cluster before the holidays, so we file our side early and send you one email listing anything we need from your team, early enough that nobody is chasing signatures over the holidays.

What Works on a CES Floor

360 video booths. The rotating arm is visible from aisles away and produces the vertical clips attendees post from the floor. At a show about technology, an activation that photographs like technology fits the room. Plan roughly a ten-by-ten area for the platform, the arm's clearance, and the line; smaller exhibits fit a traditional print booth in a tighter corner.

An overlay that carries the message. The clip goes on the attendee's feed, not yours. Put the product name, tagline, and booth number on the overlay, legible at phone size.

Lead capture at delivery, and an attendant who works the line. Guests enter contact details to receive their clip, which takes seconds and feels like a favor rather than a form. The queue is where conversations happen, so the attendant qualifies people while they wait and the booth becomes a funnel instead of a toy.

Popular Venues We Serve in CES (Consumer Electronics Show)

Las Vegas Convention Center

Insurance and EAC deadlines are published in each show's exhibitor manual. Palletized freight routes through material handling, and power drops are ordered through the show's official contractor.

Venetian Expo

The venue's published vendor policies require a certificate of insurance naming the venue as additional insured before move-in. EAC requirements are confirmed against those policies ahead of the show.

Mandalay Bay Convention Center

Hand-carried equipment is typically vendor-handled. Palletized freight routes through venue material handling, and power drops are ordered through the official show contractor, never installed by the vendor.
