SocialBoothLV is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should have equal access to information about our photo booth and event decoration services, regardless of their abilities or the technologies they use.

This accessibility statement outlines our ongoing efforts to improve accessibility, the measures we have implemented, known limitations, and how you can contact us with feedback or concerns.

Our Commitment

We are committed to conforming with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines provide a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who are blind or have low vision, deaf or hard of hearing, have limited mobility, or have cognitive and learning disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time achievement. As we add new features, update our website design, and publish new content, we continuously evaluate and improve accessibility. We recognize that our current implementation may not be perfect, and we are dedicated to making incremental improvements based on user feedback, evolving standards, and emerging best practices.

Our accessibility work encompasses our entire digital presence, including our main website, booking forms, photo galleries, blog content, and customer communications. We also strive to ensure that digital content delivered as part of our services (such as event photo galleries) is accessible to all recipients, including those using assistive technologies.

Measures Taken

Our website is built using modern semantic HTML5 markup that provides meaningful structure and context to assistive technologies like screen readers. We use proper heading hierarchies (H1, H2, H3, etc.) to create a logical document outline, employ semantic elements like <nav>, <main>, <article>, and <footer> to define page regions, and ensure that all interactive elements can be identified and operated by assistive technology users.

All functionality on our website is fully accessible via keyboard navigation. Users who cannot use a mouse can tab through all interactive elements in a logical order, activate buttons and links using the Enter or Space key, navigate form fields efficiently, and access all dropdown menus and modal dialogs. We have implemented visible focus indicators that clearly show which element currently has keyboard focus, making navigation easier for keyboard-only users and those with low vision.

Color contrast throughout our site meets or exceeds the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. We have carefully selected our purple, pink, and neutral color palette to ensure sufficient contrast against backgrounds. Text is never displayed over complex background images without adequate contrast enhancement, and we do not rely on color alone to convey important information.

All meaningful images on our site include descriptive alternative text that conveys the purpose and content of the image to screen reader users. Decorative images that do not add informational value are marked with empty alt attributes so they are properly ignored by assistive technologies. Photo gallery images include descriptions of the event type, setup, and key visual elements. Icons used for navigation or actions are accompanied by accessible labels.

Our website uses responsive design principles to ensure content is accessible across all device types and screen sizes. The layout adapts fluidly from large desktop monitors to tablets and smartphones, text remains readable without horizontal scrolling, touch targets on mobile devices are appropriately sized (minimum 44x44 pixels), and all features work regardless of screen orientation. Users can also zoom in up to 200% without loss of functionality or content.

All form fields throughout our site include properly associated labels that are announced by screen readers. Required fields are clearly marked both visually and programmatically, error messages provide specific guidance on how to correct issues, and form validation is announced to assistive technology users. We use ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attributes where necessary to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content, custom widgets, and single-page application features that update without page reloads.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some portions of our website may not yet meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements. Third-party embedded content, such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity session recordings, Meta Pixel tracking, and social media widgets, may not fully conform to accessibility standards. While we cannot directly control the accessibility of these third-party services, we are actively working with our service providers to improve their accessibility and exploring alternative solutions where necessary.

Some legacy photo gallery content may have incomplete or generic alt text descriptions. We are in the process of reviewing and updating these descriptions to provide more meaningful context about event types, booth setups, and guest experiences. Video content in our portfolio may not yet have complete captions or audio descriptions, though we are prioritizing the addition of these features for all future video content.

Complex interactive features like our 360 photo booth preview animations and balloon design visualizers may present challenges for some assistive technology users. We are exploring ways to provide equivalent alternative experiences that convey the same information in accessible formats. If you encounter difficulty with any specific feature, please contact us and we will provide the information you need through an alternative accessible method.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website and services. If you encounter accessibility barriers, have suggestions for improvement, or need assistance accessing any content or features, please contact us immediately at hello@socialboothlv.com. We take all accessibility feedback seriously and commit to responding to your inquiry within 2 business days.

When reporting an accessibility issue, please provide as much detail as possible: the specific page or feature where you encountered the problem, a description of the issue and how it affects your ability to access content, the assistive technology you are using (if applicable), including version information, and your preferred method of communication for our response. This information helps us understand and resolve the issue more quickly.

If you need information about our services in an alternative format (such as large print, audio, or plain text), we are happy to provide it. Simply let us know your needs and preferred format, and we will accommodate your request promptly. There is no charge for providing accessible format alternatives.

Enforcement

SocialBoothLV is committed to compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and related state and local accessibility laws. We recognize that digital accessibility is a legal requirement and a moral imperative, and we strive to ensure that our online presence does not exclude or disadvantage anyone based on their abilities.

We will work collaboratively with any individual who requires reasonable accommodations to access our services or website content. Accommodations may include providing information in alternative formats, offering assisted booking services via phone or email, arranging for accessible communication during events, or making adjustments to our standard service delivery to meet individual needs. Please contact us to discuss any accommodations you may require.
