Eliquis at MGM: How a Week-Long Conference Lounge Used an LED Photo Booth Enclosure

A conference lounge only works if attendees actually stop, sit down, and leave with something. Eliquis solved that at MGM with an airline-themed relaxation lounge, and our LED photo booth enclosure became the part of it people lined up for all week.

The Eliquis lounge turned a conference hallway into a departure gate

Eliquis built the space around a flight theme. A spin-the-wheel board assigned every visitor a seat class, a coffee station poured all day, and balloon clusters in orange, white, and blue framed the entrance. Themed décor carried the airline idea into every corner, right down to the orange carpet under the booth.

Every visitor spun for a seat class on the way in. The wheel set the tone before anyone reached the booth.

Our white inflatable enclosure sat inside that theme as a cloud. Lit from within by LED strips, its soft glow matched the departure-lounge look and gave attendees a quiet, enclosed spot to take a photo between sessions. Planners choosing between an open-air setup and a structure like this one can compare the trade-offs in our open-air vs enclosed booth guide.

Instant printing ran the entire conference, not a single evening

Most corporate photo booth bookings cover one reception. This one ran across the conference week, and the booth stayed staffed whenever the lounge was open. Attendees came back on different days with different colleagues, which is exactly what a sponsor wants from a lounge investment: repeat visits and a reason to return.

Every session produced an instant print. A guest who stopped by on Monday with a client could come back Tuesday with the whole team and leave with a four-up collage, then pull the file from the digital gallery to post. Our brand activation photo booth packages are built for this kind of multi-day run, with a day rate starting from $750 per day and printing included rather than metered.

Four print layouts gave Eliquis one brand in four shapes

This activation is a good look at how much variety one booth can produce. Each layout carried the Climb With Purpose artwork for Eliquis, so every print read as part of the same campaign, whether it was a single portrait or a strip.

  • Single shot. One full frame with the branded footer. The cleanest option for LinkedIn.
  • Two-up and four-up collages. Multiple poses on one card, which groups of colleagues gravitated to.
  • Three-frame vertical strip. The classic booth format, sized to slip into a badge holder.
  • Digital copies of all of the above. Delivered by text, email, or QR code alongside the print.

Digital props got business-casual attendees to loosen up

The props at this event were all digital. Sunglasses, captain's hats, feather boas, dollar-sign shades, and signs like The Party Crasher and Hip Hip Hooray appeared on guests in real time on the booth screen. Nobody had to dig through a prop box, nothing needed sanitizing between groups, and every print stayed on brand because the props were designed to match the layouts.

Christine's read on it, straight from the event: corporate clients love them. We see the same thing at trade shows, where a planner who was nervous about props ends up watching a VP wear digital sunglasses for a four-up. The full comparison, including when physical props still win, is in Digital Overlays vs. Physical Props.

Frequently asked questions

Can a photo booth run all week at a Las Vegas conference?

Yes. For the Eliquis lounge at MGM we staffed the LED enclosure across the full conference schedule, with an attendant on site whenever the lounge was open. Multi-day corporate activations are quoted as a day rate rather than hourly, starting from $750 per day, so a week-long run is priced as a package with printing, branded layouts, and digital sharing included.

What is an LED photo booth enclosure?

It is an inflatable, white-walled enclosure lit from inside with color-changing LED strips. The walls diffuse the light, so the whole structure glows and can be set to a brand color or cycled through a palette. Our booth sits inside with the camera facing the entrance. At the Eliquis lounge the soft white glow gave the airline theme its cloud-like feel.

Do digital props work for corporate attendees?

They do, and this crowd proved it. Digital props are overlays the software places on each guest in real time, such as sunglasses, hats, feather boas, and signs. There are no physical props to sanitize or lose, every print stays on brand, and attendees in business casual still loosen up. Christine's note from this event was simple: corporate clients love them.

How many print layouts can one activation use?

As many as the brand wants. For Eliquis we ran single shots, two-up and four-up collages, and a classic three-frame vertical strip, all carrying the Climb With Purpose artwork. Each layout prints instantly and is also delivered digitally, so guests can post the collage while the strip goes in a badge holder. Layouts are designed before the event from the client's brand files.

What should planners confirm with MGM before a lounge activation?

Confirm the vendor COI requirements, the load-in dock and time window, power drops at the activation footprint, and whether an inflatable structure needs fire marshal sign-off. We handle the paperwork once a date is held. Our MGM Grand Conference Center load-in guide covers the details planners ask about most.
